Operating Principle

Under normal operating conditions, the detector remains in standby mode with no alarm and no leak detected.
The relay maintains its default state (NO or NC).

Upon gas leak detection, the detector will immediately change the relay state.

  • Alarm level: 10% LEL (in accordance with standard requirements)

Installation Guidelines – LPG (Cooking Gas) Detector

The detector should be installed in any commercial or industrial kitchen where gas equipment is used, such as:

  • Ovens
  • Gas stoves
  • Burners
  • Any LPG-powered appliances

For enhanced safety, it is recommended to connect the detector to:

  • An external fire alarm system, or
  • An automatic shut-off valve to stop gas flow in case of a leak

Since LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is heavier than air, the detector should be installed at a height of approximately 10–20 cm above the floor.

Additional installation recommendations:

  • Maintain at least 1 meter distance from ovens, transformers, and emission sources
  • Can be installed in any orientation except horizontally on the floor with the sensor facing upward
